Councilmember Guidry joined Mayor Landrieu and other dignitaries in helping break ground for the Mid-City Market retail development that is anticipated to open in 2013 providing economic development opportunities and a premier shopping destination for the city.
Councilmember Guidry joined community volunteers and students celebrating the completion of the new KaBOOM! Playground at Langston Hughes Academy in the Desaix neighborhood. This is the 5th KaBOOM! Playground to be built in District "A" since Councilmember Guidry took office.
